The pound sterling has dropped on Wednesday. An initial survey by YouGov revealed that the Conservative lead in the polls has shrunk. YouGov’s poll shows that Boris Johnson’s Conservative party gained 1%. While Corbyn’s Labour party gained 2%.
The pound sterling also fell as more young people under the age of 35 applied to take part in next month’s elections. This target group is less inclined to vote for the Conservatives.
In recent weeks, the pound sterling has been on the rise. Because the chances of a disorderly exit from the European Union has been greatly reduced.
