After only 2 days, Elon Musk’s Cybertruck has sold 150.000 trucks. Now 3 days after the presentation, 200.000 Cybetrucks have been pre-ordered.
Car manufacturer Tesla has already received some 200,000 pre-orders for its new electric Cybertruck. Despite a huge fail at the unveiling of the vehicle. Elon Musk announced this on Twitter.
At the presentation of the Tesla Cybertruck last week, things went wrong. The US car manufacturer’s head of design wanted to show that the futuristic-looking vehicle is extra sturdy, but he destroyed two windows. The design of the pickup truck caused mixed reactions among enthusiasts, while analysts hoped that Tesla would be able to take a significant share of the somewhat traditionally established market for pickup trucks.
It may take years before Tesla’s first electric pick-up truck is actually for sale. Tesla wants to start production by the end of 2021.
